The Architect

Building digital stories that move, think and react.

With over a decade of experience, I specialize in the intersection of high-end design and scalable backend architecture. My philosophy is rooted in Playful Professionalism: creating systems that are technically bulletproof yet delightfully intuitive. I make architecture decisions transparent, for example with the C4 model.

Lately, my focus has shifted toward DevOps, Kubernetes scaling, and LLM integration. I design highly available platforms that handle load spikes reliably, embed generative AI workloads safely, and process large volumes of data asynchronously — for example with RabbitMQ and event-driven architectures.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about working together on your next digital product.

Why hire Mario as a developer?

Because I combine technical architecture, product thinking, and careful implementation. You get more than code: pragmatic decisions, clear communication, and a result built to last.

How do you handle remote collaboration?

Remote projects run on clear goals, short check-ins, transparent backlogs, and regular demos. Progress, decisions, and next steps stay visible at all times.

What does your typical project process look like?

We start by clarifying goals, users, technical constraints, and risks. Then we move into a focused implementation plan with iterative development, review cycles, and a clean handover.

Do you offer post-launch support?

Yes. After launch I can support stabilization, monitoring, bug fixing, ongoing product development, and technical consulting.

Which technologies do you recommend?

I have worked extensively with Java, TypeScript, PHP, and Python stacks, as well as other technologies. The right choice always depends on the domain, the team, and the existing system landscape.

Can you also handle large enterprise software projects?

Yes. I am used to complex stakeholder environments, existing system landscapes, security requirements, and long-term maintainability. I quickly find my way into established structures and work seamlessly with teams in classic agile projects — including mutual reviews and joint architecture decisions.
